Who are we? What do we stand for?

Patriotic Walk on DC Our primary objective: Defending the Constitution of the United States of America through dissemination of materials of every kind and character, including information in opposition to activities and legislation which threaten it, and to support and to preserve the Constitution, as envisioned by our forefathers.

Hoosier Patriots was established in September 2009, shortly after the highly successful 9-12 March on Washington, DC, by D. C. “Dan” Lee, Warsaw, IN, and Greg Fettig, Westwood, IN. Initially, the organization’s web site was underwritten by a private business, to expedite getting the organization on line. Since that time, papers have been prepared to incorporate Hoosier Patriots, Inc., as an Indiana non-profit corporation under IRS Section 501(c)(4).

Although non-partisan, the Hoosier Patriots’ philosophy, and that of a vast majority of those who participate in the organization, holds to a strong faith in God and conservative values and philosophies. These include opposition to “Big Government”, deficit spending, government intrusions threatening basic individual rights as spelled out in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Hoosier Patriots, Inc. is dedicated to support for the United States Constitution and the Republic government it established. A primary function is to continually motivate and encourage members of every patriotic organization with like beliefs. Participation in Hoosier Patriots is open to any adult individual who is qualified to vote in the United States, regardless of state of residence, race, creed, or ethnic origin.

Educating the electorate and elected officials about the benefits of conservative governing principles on the local, state and national level is a primary concern of Hoosier Patriots, Inc. The organization communicates with its participants primarily through electronic media. Educational efforts consist of correspondence through letters, electronic media, newspapers and magazines, and public forum assembly. The organization believes frequent communications and direct meetings between elected officials and constituents are critical to maintaining the Republic through its Constitution, and are a foundation of our purpose.
